cancer symptoms but getting nowhere

Hi,i don't really know where to start.Im 39 and I've always had regular normal flow periods every 4 weeks. The last 2 however were firstly 6 weeks then 8 and 1/2 weeks apart and im now late again. As well as this i've had persistent pain around ovaries, sides of pelvis and lower back everyday for the last 2 months thats always worse when stood or walking ,uti which is now cleared, heartburn, extreme tiredness, exploding sounds in intestines and bloating.I've had bloods taken including ca125 and hormone levels to check for menopause and all fine.I had a transvaginal ultrasound which also came back clear but I'm really concerned as to how fast it was done...i was literally in and out in 5 mins.Ive also sent off a FIT test poo sample but still waiting for results and had repeated bloods which are still fine.I'm so upset and drained from all this,i know somethings wrong,I've never had these symptoms before. All other possible things I've read about seem to be left or right sided and come and go and have flare ups this pain is on both sides and its the same everyday for the last 2 months.I cant help but wonder if the ultrasound was rushed and something missed or could these be bowel cancer symptoms and I've been assuming its ovarian all along. Can bowel cancer stop periods? Before anyone suggests my stress and worry could have stopped the periods i assure you i was not stressed or worried until the periods randomly stopped. Please could anyone tell me if they had similar symptoms and what it turned out to be,I'm so scared that whatever it is is getting worse whilst waiting all this time for answers,i feel like life is on hold and cant stop crying

  • Hello Nic.81,

I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your FIT results. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more.

I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious.

I hope you will also hear from others here who have had similar symptoms before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    Best wishes,
