Hi all,
I'm currently awaiting dates for a colonoscopy and upper abdomen ultra sound. Believe I've been placed on the urgent 2 week referral list, which is a bit worrying in itself!
My problems started about 8 weeks ago with constipation that has not really gone away. The only time it has is when I've eaten Wheatabix, which has gone straight through me ever since I was a kid. On those occasions it was very much loose stools and going 3/4 times a day.
Over the last week or so I've also started to develop some pain in my abdomen. It moves around a lot from upper to lower quadrants, is that the type of pain others have experienced? Or does it tend to stick in one place.
I've also been suffering with chronic heartburn for 10 days straight - lanzarpzole, gaviscon etc is not having much of an impact. I do suffer with GERD/acid reflux so this isn't new to me, but again wondered if anyone else had suffered with it pre diagnosis.
Should add that I'm 31.
