Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear that you are at this awful stage where your mind is no doubt running away with all sorts of nasty possibilities. Let me reassure you that this is perfectly normal. Most of us tend to fear the worst at this stage. Fortunately, this very seldom turns out to be the case. There are many different reasons for lumps and not all lumps are cancerous. In fact, only 1 person in 8 referred to the clinic turns out to have cancer.

Many worry about getting an appointment so quickly, but this is normal. You have to be seen within 2 weeks

There is no way to predict whether the news will be good or bad until you have some tests carried out at the clinic, but I hope that it all goes well.
