Hi I am 19 years old and around 3 months ago I started feeling extremely nauseous and fatigued, a few days later I saw that there was some bright red blood on the toilet paper. This has continued every week for the past 12 weeks. At this point I am also extremely fatigued and find it difficult even raising my arms, my stools are constantly soft and loose and sometimes they have a red tint to them. I have spoke to multiple GP’s many times and even been to a&e because of this. My bloods came back normal apart from a vitamin d deficiency, I also did a stool sample which showed inflammation and then repeated it 2 weeks later which showed it was normal. The GP’s aren’t taking this seriously and are saying it’s not urgent. I have been referred to gastro but due to the pandemic I know it will take weeks for my appointment which is giving me serious anxiety that I can’t sleep and I’m constantly sat googling worrying myself. Everyone says bowel cancer would be very rare at my age but I genuinely don’t know what else it could be. Both my grandma and brother suffer from Crohn’s disease but there symptoms were very different. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do or what this could be? Thanks
