Had Breast clinic appointment

Morning all

I had my breast clinic appointment yesterday, only a consultation & mammogram.

It seems my hospital doesnt do ultrasound etc all in a day.

What I'd like to ask is, have any of you ladies had the same and then been called in to go for an ultrasound?

I was told result within 2 weeks, but it all went so fast I was unable to ask questions!

I didnt get to see a dr afterwards either.

So am I right in thinking that if anything suspicious shows up on mammogram they will call me in for further tests rather than make me wait 2 weeks?

Or would I get a letter asking me to go back in?

Hi,

I had my appointment at the clinic last week.
I went in for the mammogram and ended up with ultrasound and biopsy on the same day.

I would think it's a good sign if they aren't rushing the ultrasound? So something to keep positive about.
although I know that the waiting is just unreal and it's so so difficult to try to remain positive when you've not got a clue what's going on.
