Worried

Good morning.

A few days ago I found a lump in right breast. Just above the bra line. I went to the doctor yesterday who checked and he said that there is a lump. He did say it's movable and that's a good sign but referred me for a two week clinic appointment.

The breast in question has red marks where the tiny lump is. It doesn't look like a rash or anything. Just as thought it's been prodded and its warm.

My other half is telling me to chill and fine but I'm struggling. Any advice would be fan.

I've been to the clinic before in February with a few lumps on my other breast and that was fine. Just lumpy boob. This feels different though and the redness is freaking me out xx

  • Hello Vix79,

I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your appointment at the breast clinic. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more about this.

I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious.

I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    Best wishes,
