Around 6 weeks ago I went to an e.n.t with feeling like something is stuck in my throat, slight sore throat, lump under my chin, ear pain and slight blocked ear feeling. He put a camera down my nose and said all looked okay and to come back in 6 weeks if no better, also had throat swabs at doctors which were clear for infection. Since then I've had a lump come up behind my right ear too. I paid privately for a neck mri which all looked okay apart from a mildly enlarged reactive lymph node, I'm absolutely terrified for what this could mean. I'm seeing the e.n.t again on Saturday but I just can't help thinking the worst, I'm panicking about lymphoma, oral cancer, oesophagus cancer and just any type of cancer in general. I have young children and the thought of anything being seriously wrong just makes me break down. I'm only 24, im just absolutely terrified. No point to this post I suppose it's just nice to know I'm not alone, if anyone has any similar stories that turned out okay I could really use the read right now. Thankyou :(
