Hey!
I'm 24 and had a baby 18 months ago since giving birth I've had a nightmare with bleeding I'm on no contraception's. I was bleeding for 8 months straight after birth ,
doctors put me on oestrogen tablets for 8 weeks and no difference. Recently for about 5-6 I have a period that last about 9-14 days that are very heavy like I leak even when having a tampon and pad together in the night I wake up to change as I've leaked through, always have large clots, and what looks like fleshy tissue, then brown / black discharge when I'm not bleeding and if I have sex I have to stop every time because I bleed heavily and have nasty pain for a good few days and random bleeding else where during the month so really I'm never free from blood or bloody discharge.
I'm forever feeling nauseous. i'm experiencing nasty pains like dull cramps and sharp pains constantly. so much pressure in my pelvic Area. Back pain is bad too and all these effecting my day to day basis. I'm extremely tired all the time I go to bed at good times and wake up so late and even when I'm up I'm so tired.
evey time my cervix gets touched I yelp with pain and tears run down my face.
Im very embarrassed to say in the past in my teen years I Was sexually active and Ex Boyfriend cheated and gave me an sti.
Since going though these problems after birth I have been checked 3 times for any sti's all have been negative. And I have had the same partner for 4 years so I'm safe from any sti.
but to top it of my mum pulled me to one side and said she's worried and told me my nan has had cervical cancer and had a hysterectomy when she was a little bit older than me. ( I never knew). She says my nan says she worried as these symptoms was very similar to hers.
ive recently moved and changed gp's but with coronavirus going on I'm struggling to get an appointment with them.
I have really bad anxiety so even making a phone call to the gp I'm struggling to get the importance of the call across to them the words don't come out of what I want to say. I just keep being told ring back the next day at 8am.
but I do have an appointment with the gynaecologist at the end of November due to a different reason (labial tear during child birth) should I wait till then and tell the gynaecologist ? Or do I need to hound the gp and get checked ASAP ?
