I'm new to this but really needed some advice. I went for my smear due to irregular bleeding during and after intercourse. Pain during intercourse. Pelvic, lower back, abdominal and leg pain. Also weight loss without trying. My smear results came back with high risk hpv positive and mild cell changes. I went for my colopscopy absolutely terrified. Was told she could see the the cells that the smear had picked up but did no treatment or biopsy and told me to go back to my gp in 12 months. I've had all these symptoms for around 5 months now. Spoke to my gp who told me to wait for my colopscopy results to be sent back to the gp as she's not sure why no treatment was needed and maybe my colopscopy couldn't tell me anything more other then wait 12 months. The pain is constant everyday also nausea and tiredness. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same results after a colopscopy. Sorry about the long winded post
