Hi,

I have recently had symptoms of mouth cancer.

I have had a MRI Scan of head and neck and a chest x ray. Both of which were fine. (The MRI showed a cyst)

Surely if there was something sinister then the MRI would show a spread and if it was advanced the chest x ray would pull something up?

The MRI also said that the cervical nodes were fine.

I am really concerned as the symptoms have not gotten better and the Drs cannot tell me why the symptoms are there

Hi Anonanin,
It sounds as if the medical team have done some fairly thorough investigations to find out what the issue may be, but I understand it must be frustrating if you feel you don't really have any anwers. Try to take some reassurance from the fact the tests so far haven't shown anything untoward. If there are symptoms you're still struggling with but don't know what's causing them, the only thing is to speak to your doctor to try to get some answers.
