Hi I have recently had a smear which was abnormal cells low grade and HPV which I know is quite common. It said I had thrush aswell. I went to hospital for the Colposcopy and was told that I have another growth/infection to do with the coil which I've got antibiotics for. It wasn't spoken about too much and was agreed I'd have the coil out.  I had two referrals, the first one was because I had no period just spotting, some pain and then a really bad period and felt really unwell. Second was was obviously the abnormal cells. I told her that I've had some tummy pain and she asked if I go hot and cold, I said yes sometimes.. well anyway the colposcopy went ahead and After she said they weren't going to do anything nasty during that appointment she took two biopsy's from me and took the coil out. I don't know why the biopsy's was taken obviously to check for cancerous growths etc. And I've got to have an ultrasound on my ovaries which I'm waiting to hear back from. I asked what would happen next once I had left and she said I'll wait for ultrasound results, the biopsy results then I will call you. And that was that, I rung them and asked for the name of the infection caused by coil and to see if I needed to do anything to book the ultrasound and the receptionist called back and said the doctor will call to tell me a bit of info about it and then that was it. What are everyone's thoughts!? I can't think straight tbh n I hate the unknown just want to know either way...
