Large, hard, mobile lump. Quick referall!

Hi everyone,

So, I'm 29 with a husband and 12 week old baby (who we tried a very long time for!)

I noticed a large lump on my right breast recently so on Tuesday I called the docs who then called me in on the Wednesday to be assessed. The lump is painless and mobile but I have been referred to the breast clinic. She didn't give me any information  or say it could be this or that just a referral. This morning I've had a call and my appointment at the clinic is on Monday! I didn't expect it all to happen so fast due to covid but I'm glad they're taking it seriously.

I don't really know what I want to say, I feel a bit numb about it all to be honest. I've already been to hell and back in decent years so I keep going from crying to laughing. Must be my coping mechanism.

I guess my question is, has anybody had a mobile lump turn out to be cancer? Because I'm reading that they're not usually mobile but I wouldn't be referred so quickly of that was the case would I? Hope youre all well, I never thought I would end up on the forum.

Thanks for any advice.
