I'm sorry to hear that your son has had some health concerns recently. It sounds as if the GP is being thorough in requesting an ultrasound for these raised lymph nodes. I'm unsure if the hospital will scan all the raised nodes. It may depend on what the GP requested and local policies but do ask the ultrasound technician when you go to the appointment.
