Hi,

im only 18 but have discovered a small lump on my right boob, I went to the doctors who gave me an emergency referral at the hospital. I wouldn't be worried however my family have the BRCA gene. My grandpa passed away from prostate cancer, my aunt got breast cancer in her late 20s, and my mum has just had a double masectomy because of the gene. 
should I be worried?? When is the right time to get the BRCA gene test?
