You won't be wasting the appointment.

They would rather send every patient home with the news that it is nothing than giving them devastating news but sadly this isn't always the case.

There's a small chance that it could be something and if this is ignored and spreads over time, worst case that you were told nothing could be done, you can't turn the clock back.

You're not wasting the appointment, I know if you rang them and said you thought it was getting smaller they would still tell you to go and get it checked.

You'll be in and out in no time, imagine how you will feel tonight knowing 100%, hopefully good news and you can forget about it.

What would you say to your best friend if it were her... and if you told her not to bother and how would you feel later if she listened to you and things went horribly wrong for her.

I feel so guilty either way.

I know I need to go, but feel awful wasting their time.

They really won't think that.... honestly and they will probably check both and your armpits while you are there so you will know everythings ok.

What time do you go?

Everyone who visits there hopes for that.

So if they do that, you have only taken up 5 minutes of their time anyway.

Any hospital appointment is stressful but at least it hasn't grown alot and then you would be much worse.

I've been through the cancer hell and it was found quite early the first time so treatment was easier.

My motto is if it's there find it early and the chance of being cured is so much better.

I'm sure you won't be in that situation... but just in case x

Oh bless you, I'm sorry to hear your situation. Here I am stressing about attending an appointment when I know I'm fine, I should thinking of the people who are stressing that they're not, or worse. 

I hope you are on the road to recovery and thank you for sharing. It has put things into perspective for me xx

I have met quite a few breast cancer survivors since my diagnosis, at coffee mornings and pilates cancer rehab class, all would tell you to go and get checked.

Mine was bowel cancer, as far as I know I am ok now but you can see why I think everyone with the least symptom should get checked xx
