Hi,

Just needed to vent i think and im a little confused , so any advice would be greatly recieved.

I had my first abnormal smear in Dec 19, followed by Lletz procedure in Jan 20, my follow up smear in August 20 still detected abnormal cells so in Sep 20 ive just had Lletz procedure for 2nd time, during this examination the consultant informed me that the abnormal cells have spread to area outside my cervix , which cant be treated with Lletz. she explained she had removed cells she could and also treated the cells that have grown outside my cervix with electric pulses, but that this doesnt have good result.

I was also informed that having a Hysterectomy will not rectify the other cells and i will have to be reffered for laser treatment, so im now very anxious and worried as i have been told i will have to wait until results of my follow up smear before any other treatment is decided.
