Colonoscopy biopsy

Hi All i just wanted to ask i had a colonoscopy and my actual visual look apprently looked normal however i phoned the doctors surgery and one lady said the results are back for biopsies then to be told the doctor will need to call you i phoned again the morning to be told oh we dont have results she must have it wrong then i was told the next day by the same lady as the first day i phoned that the consultant will be in contact next week to be interrupted by somone in the surgery telling her its not her place to say this so im left in the unkown is it usual practice for consultants to contact you after or is it usuall as i got told from hospital usually goes to GP im just so confused and it is a worry waiting just want to know of course i wont but what are the practices ? So atleast i have a slight idea ? 

 

Also i have pernicious anemia does this put me more at Risk ?

 

Been in agonisisng pain for Quite a few years abdominal pain And lots of symptoms

    In my experience if they find anything they think is cancer they tell you at the test.

    It is normal to take biopsies while they are in there for lots of different diseases.

    Also to snip off any small polyps they may come across as these can turn cancerous later on.

    I have found too that they do work in a strange way, we are going through hell waiting for results n to them it is all in a days work, nothing comes back quickly.

    Maybe give the endoscopy department a ring and see if you can get them to hurry things up. Ours work saturdays.
