Hi can I ask how long people are waiting for these appointments to come through.  I was seen by my GP on 9 September 2020 after I found a lump.  She said she was going to refer me and I would get an appointment in 2 weeks, however due to delays because of Covid I've been told I should receive my appointment in November!  I've been trying to put it to the back of my mind but as time goes on I'm getting more anxious.  I'm thinking of requesting a private referral to see if I will be seen quicker.  I have a some low level health insurance that could cover up to £200 of the cost of diagnostic consultation.  Just wondered if anyone is experiencing the same wait times and have gone down the private route and would you recommend.  Thanks
