I would say try and eat a diet high in fibre so that you aren't adding constipation to your symptoms.
Drink plenty of water. 
Contact the secretary of your consultant and tell her you will come in at short notice if they have a cancellation. 
When were you referred for your colonoscopy, because if it exceeds the time(6 weeks)  it should take to have this procedure you can ask to have the procedure elsewhere. This your right under the NHS waiting times procedure. 
It's worth speaking to your GP to ensure you have been urgently referred.

Thankyou for replying and for your advice I will contact the secretary tomorrow as its 5 weeks now I have been waiting.my GP expedited it Wednesday after I sent him pictures of my BM and having continuous pain and bloating.

Yes I chased my camera and I have one next week. Still have all the symptoms. Fingers crossed its just internal haemorroids.Thanks for asking.
