Can’t think straight

Hiya,

I am a 28 yr old female..I had a really bad cold in March. In May I was told I had thyroiditis and some reactive lymph nodes in my neck. All of this was determined using ultrasound. Since then I have felt 3 lumps..all movable but not painful. I'm bricking it. I have healthy anxiety as it is and the thought of being diagnosed with cancer just destroys me. I was just wondering if anyone was diagnosed with silent thyroiditis and if they had swollen lymph nodes in their neck? Mine are unilateral(on one side) and they're not by my thyroid but rather they're the deep cervical lymph node group.

  • Hello Hello92

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some health concerns over the past few months. It sounds as if you'd benefit from having a chat with your GP about your diagnosis, symptoms and the impact that the anxiety is having on your life. I'm sure that they will be able to answer some of your questions and offer some advice and reassurance.

    Best wishes,

  • Hey im currently going through a very similar thing had three lymph nodes pop up on one side of my neck and it has then been checked via a blood test which said I had boderline thyroidism I linked this guessing they are correlated I've also been much more sensitive to the cold so this links hormone imbalances can cause swollen lymph nodes so I wouldn't worry let me know how you get on always here for you
