Breast referral

I've beengp for a small lump in breast and a Watery discharge from my nipple, doctor referral to hospital 2ww, I have waited over a weeks now but just out of curiosity I phoned the bread clinic to find out appointment, I was told I should have been there this morning, they said they sent letter out,I'm so angry I just got the letter Iinpost as the post was late so I didn't no anything about the appointment, now I have to wait another 2 weeks, I'm so anxious now I have to wait again as I could have all of it done today I'm so upset xx

    That's unacceptable.  Is there anyway they can see sooner as it is their fault not yours. I don't think some doctors understand how anxious  you get waiting .

    Hi,

    have you managed to speak to someone to get a new appointment date? It's crazy that things are all posted when email would be a lot quicker! And cheaper! And more reliable! I had a letter arrive telling me my pre-op was the day before - luckily I had had a phone call to say ignore the letter as cancelled but had that not been the case I would have been devastated to have missed it and then not been able to have my surgery. 
    fingers crossed you get news soon - I find that the waiting is so hard. x
