I have had what I thought was a mole for years and years on the heel of my foot. The last month it had darkened it has always been like dark red mole with vessels in it. I am 34 weeks pregnant with twins. The GP said it could be pregnancy related, however wanted to put it as urgent to be on the safe side. I seen the dermatologist today. She had a proper look at, couldn't diagnose what mole it was. She said she doesn't think it is anything serious but would like to do a biopsy to double check and to also see the type of mole. She said that she would prefer to do the biopsy once the twins are born in two weeks due to the infection risks. She said if she thought it was very serious she would have done the biopsy today. I am just a little worried can anyone reassure me or have been in the same situation?
