Awaiting Biopsy Lesion of Throat

Good evening guys

 

I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light please. 

A few days ago I found a small lump on my jaw line, after a trip to the docs and a further inspection by Max Fax Surgeons I'm currently on a 2 week Cancer Referal to determine what the 'mass' found on what should have been my right tonsil is. (tonsilectomy 4yrs ago)

 

Im due for surgery to have a biopsy taken this week, and was just wondering if anyone would be able to shed some light if they have been in the same situation please?  

 

I have two "babies" under 8 and really want to stay as calm as I can but am finding it hard. 

I've had a Ultra Sound on the lump on my jaw which proved to be a swollen Lymph Node 

Any help or similar scenarios is greatly appreciated

    I can understand how you are feeling - this kind of uncertainty is never easy, nor is the waiting for results.

    It's good to hear you have further tests booked in - these should provide the answers you need, as well as an opportunity to discuss with your doctor.

    While waiting for further appointments and results, many people say it helps to keep busy and distracted if you can, to keep your mind off things.

    If anyone here has any similar experience to share then hopefully they'll be along soon.
