I got an ultrasound today on my armpit the largest lymph node was 13mm by 9mm is this a normal size? She said it isn't concerning although from what I have read this is large what would you say?
If the doctor isn't concerned then they are the best person to take advice from. Once you receive your results, you should have an opportunity to discuss anything with your doctor and to ask any questions you may have.

Hey totally understand I have awful health anxiety and went to the doctors so much about it I still have a few I can feel in my armpit groin and neck if your slim sometimes you can just always feel them which is nothing to stress about also something I didn't know was that is you have a spot near the lymph node that can cause it to swell I know it's so difficult not to worry but I highly doubt it's anything to worry about if it was you would likely feel really ill and have lots of other symptoms if it gets to the point of complete despair you can pay for a private ultrasound to put your mind at rest
thankyou for responding. I legit didn't have health anxiety until these lymph nodes started to come up 2 months ago. Everytime I think about it I legit cant eat.
my lymph node in my armpit was infected and got like really really big like 2 grape sizes but it was only 1 lymph node. The skin around it was also raised due to the infection. GP prescribed me antibiotics which helped with the pain and like 50% of the swelling but I legit have a feel of the lymph node in my armpit around 4 times a day and I can just tell and feel it's the size of a grape. I feel so worried because I've been Googling for the past 2 months wathcing story times on YouTube which is dumb of me I know it is. But I cant stop myself. I also do know some lymph nodes that were once infected don't go back to original size but I feel like grape size is too big. I have an appointment with the GP on the following Wednesday but it's like 5 days away. Feels so far away. I really want to get an ultrasound and a needle biopsy to rule out things. I feel like all of these health issues is legit putting me in such a depressive state and I never thought I would say that because if you ask anyone they would say Mellisa is always so happy bubbly.
