Fine needle aspiration on the neck

Has anyone needed a biopsy of a lump on the neck before. Im due to go next week for an ultrasound and a biopsy of a small lump i found on my neck just below my chin. I am freaking out. What concerns me the most is that i have trouble with dizziness and i cant lay flat back and definately cant tilt my head back without getting awful dizziness. Is there anyway they can do it with me sitting up x

    I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with some dizziness at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling more concerned about your biopsy next week but I'm sure that the team will have had aptients before who are physically unable to lie flat or extend their neck. 
    If you wanted to give them a call before attending your appointment I'm sure that they will be able to offer you some advice and make a note on your records so that the team can make any necessary adjustments. 

    I hopt that all goes smoothly.
