My initial appointment was delayed and delayed until 3 weeks after referral and finally happened last week on Wednesday. Investigation, mammogram and ultrasound all indicated that the lump is most probably cancerous. Biopsies were taken of the lump and the lymph nodes and I was told that the results would come back to the hospital on Monday this week for discussion by the team regarding treatment and I would then be seen on Friday. I had heard nothing by yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon and phoned to find out. It turns out my results did not come back yesterday (they don't know why)  and HOPEFULLY !!! will come next week.

I was doing really well with  the situation until this latest delay. I am feeling really tearful about it all and convinced that the lump is bigger. 

Any ideas on how to deal with stress of waiting. I have tried breathing / restful music / going for walks etc without much success.
