Waiting is difficult, but be sure you've done the right thing by going straight to the Doctor. Googling your symptoms is going to put all sorts of doubts in your head, it could be a number of things i.e cyst. Cancer treatment has come a long way and it's much more personalised and advanced now. Try to be positive and occupy your time with Family, Friends, hobbies or going out for walks/exercise. It's harder on your own, so definitely talk about how you're feeling to get it off your chest - this helped me a lot. I hope it's not anything malicious and good luck with your appointment.
