long story short, had a cardiac stress mri which discovered enlarged lymph nodes in area of mri scan. Cardiologist wrote saying he'd referred me for urgent ct scan. What's the average wait for an urgent ct, under current circumstances?

Hi Babbage30,
Welcome to Cancer Chat. It is likely you should receive an appointment within a couple of weeks, but this isn't definite so do follow it up with your doctor if you are unsure or if you feel you have been waiting a long time.
If you'd like to talk anything through with our nurses, you can reach them on 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.
Wishing you all the best,
Ben

Thanks for that Ben.
Coming up on three weeks since I got letter.
Had annual check-up at Drs today, consultants letter to GP, says they found Mediastinal Lymphadenopathy.
Had usual blood tests as part of check up, maybe they'll throw some light on things.
All bloods came back normal
Have finally had my ct, four weeks from referral to scan.
Scan was thorax and abdomen with contrast.
Been told it'll be two to three weeks for results.
Hi Babbage,
I hope that your results come back sooner than this, as I am all too familiar with the agony of waiting on test results.
Thinking of you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Well 4.5 weeks later, still no results. Apparently report is with consultant.
Hope they come back in your favour.
Hi how did things go? I'm in same boat
