I hope you do not mind me joining. I actually live in Spain ( I'm english) but think I'll find it easier to express my fears in English although I appreciate that treatment here may vary although so far it's relatively the same.

In July, when I was in the U.K., I developed a pain in my neck, on my return to Spain, I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my jugular vein and was out on anticoagulants. All went well and the clot started to disappear. Two weeks ago I developed swelling in my armpit, left side, which also showed bruising etc. I was admitted to hospital and because there was concerns I was bleeding internally I had a CT scan. The scan actually showed lymph node swelling on the left side which it is believed was impeding my veins and nerves causing pain and swelling , howver it also showed many other lymph nodes were swollen in my neck , chest area and abdomen, can't recall the exact ones now.

I am now waiting for a Pet scan which I undertand will show more?

i have no other symptoms 

does a PET scan mean it cancer and it's a case of confirming it?  They're being a bit vague. Mentally I'm up and down and really struggling with the enormity of this.  Last week it was a clothing issue today it's cancer
