I’m not sure what’s going on

I'm a 56 year old woman and since I was around 48 my periods have been very hit and miss, sometimes going months without a proper period but always having a brownish discharge most days.  I went to my dr in July and I was refured for an internal scan with what I was told a biopsy which was done by the specialist. Today I had a letter saying my histology results were normal and there was no need for concern. I had a slight thickening of the womb and they said they were arranging for me to undergo a minor investigation before being discharged back to my dr. What would this investigation be? I'm still bleeding everyday so how can that be normal? Very confused

  • Hi Silverbullet and welcome to the forum.

You could try and see if your doctor may know what this minor investigation could be but ultimately your specialist would be the best person to ask about this if you're able to get through to them.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will share their advice and experiences with you soon as well.

I hope you're able to get some answers soon Silverbullet.

    All the best,
