Mixed results at ultrasound

Hello... not too sure if I am posting this in the right way but here goes,

My partner found a lump in my left breast approx 6 months ago, now I'm only 24 and have lumpy breasts so did not think too much of it. However I then started getting agonising pain , I mean that sharp pain where you want to grab your boob for dear life .. that pain. I also started getting discharge from the nipple. I told my mum who was furious I hadn't gone to the doctors and that day a GP appointment was booked.

I went to the GP she also felt the lump and said "It will be fine you are too young but better to be sure" . I then got an urgent referral to the breast clinic.

So I went to the breast clinic and was seen by a consultant. She examined me and also found the lump. She stated I would have an ultrasound due to my age to check the lump wasn't anything to worry about. She then explained that unless there were any concerns she wouldn't see me after.

Next came the ultrasound whereby I was told "it's not a cyst" then "it is a tumour but don't worry it will be a Fibroadenoma which is benign but I need to bi-opsy it to be certain ". I thought this was all positive. However I left this room to then be directed back to the consultant to which I was surprised as she said she would only see me after if it was concerning.

I sat down and she said "so the ultrasound confirmed the lump, you are young which means it'll be a Fibroadenoma it's not concerning but they bi-opsied it because it does not resemble a normal Fibroadenoma on the ultrasound so we have to be certain just in case you know we miss something"

Now I feel very confused and feel like this was all Miss matched information. Is it possible to misread a Fibroadenoma on an ultrasound ?!

I have to wait a week for results and feel more anxious the days go on. Would appreciate any similar experiences!
