I'm on active treatment for autimune thyroidities for the past two years and just watched my mother, who had lyphome for years, to go through the horendious treatment for stage four throat cancer. 

Now, few month ago I had found a weird mass just above the place where two clavicles meet. I think it's called suprasternal notch, but with English not being my first language, I'm not sure if the term is right. In the past fee weeks, I can see that lump growing almost everyday, so I went to see my GP. She assesed the situation, grouped it with me loosing 5kgs in a week and a changes to my voice and laugh and refered me to urgent testing last week. So far, I had the ultrasound yesterday. Sonographer was not able to offer any information, so my worries just increasing day by day.

I have 9 years old daughter and she's my main concern if the tests doesn't return as all clear...

Could it be something else and not the cancer? Did someone under similar circumstances received all clear and went back to their normal day to day life?
