A few weeks ago I had a small spot on my right neck. I picked it and it bled for ages. I kept picking the spot, and gradually it got worse. 

It is now a large, hard and red lump sticking off the side of my neck. I have been googling, and none of the signs seem good. I went to the DR and was prescribed cream and medication whilst I await a biopsy. Neither the cream or medication have worked, I am extremely worried it is cancerous, and as I left it a couple of months before getting it checked that it could be cancerous.

Please can anyone help, advise, or ask me any questions that might help or put my mind to rest as I am an extremely anxious person.
