Hi,
ive been following this page for a few month now and I just wanted some advice. I've had a swollen lymph node on my neck near my tonsil since about September 2019. I went to a doctors after about 6 weeks and also got a scan and blood test within the next few month after. They said that the all was clear that it was just swollen and it should be fine. I've thought nothing of it and have had quite a difficult time over the past few month so I left it at that. I went to the doctors again twice since then as I was concerned but was advised that it was just a lump. Fast forward August I definitely feel as if it has gotten bigger since my last appointment at the doctors, it was almost like I could feel the lump in my throat it was beginning to feel uncomfortable and over the past couple of weeks when I turn my head or move it quickly it hurts as if it is pressuring something else. I've also lost about a stone over the past few month and I'm constantly tired but unsure if that related to my situation. I've just been to the doctors 4 days ago I have my blood test tomorrow and I'm waiting for my letter in the post regarding my next scan but I'm so concerned it's solid and about the size of a 10p coin. I'm 19 years old I haven't really took care of myself I just can't stop worrying they have advised that it may be a thyroid problem and fingers crossed it is. I have been trying to trace the rest of my body to find any lumps but I'm unsure of what is just fatty tissue and what should be classed as a lump? Just looking for some help and advice I know it's a reach but I feel like I have no one to talk to no one really cares about it except me.
thank you,
sinead xx
