My mother got diagnosed last year with breast and bone cancer I found a lump 2 weeks ago and got my appointment Monday and I am a emotional wreck I can't think straight I keep thinking I will get up and the lump will be gone
Sorry to read about your mum and that you're feeling scared about your own lump. It's easy to jump to worse case scenario when we find something that scares us but take a deep breath and remember all you have at the moment is an unidentified lump, it could be a number of things and not necessary cancer. I'm glad you are going to get it checked out and hopefully it will turn out to be benign. I found keeping myself busy helped put the matter to the back of my mind so I didn't dwell on it, there's nothing to be gained by worrying yourself sick.
