Thyroid needle biopsy

Today I have had a needle biopsy on a nodule on my thyroid and I am petrified. The consultant said thay thyroid cancer is a good cancer to have... is any cancer good to have... does that mean I have cancer. Petrified for results my ultrasound showed a couple of traits that raised concern. I am so scared.

I am new year. Hearing the c word I couldn't haar anything else.

Just wanted to check in with you to see how your biopsy was yesterday. I hope that the Consultant was able to answer your questions and give you some reassurance.

Thank you. It was quite unpleasant. I guess it's just a waiting game now. Been told of I have it it's a good cancer to have. So I'm petrified. But I guess I just have to wait now. Thank you
