Hello All,
I am new here. On my 30th birthday, I got a call from my cardiologist saying that they incidentally found a lesion on my MRI scan on my left breast. ( the scan was initially for my heart) The MRI was done in Feb, i found out on my birthday which was at the end of August.
I did notice some changes on my left breast back last year but I ignored it, for example, my outline areola shape had changed and become a "batman shape" or "cat ears" shape and never went back to normal. I do have breast pain, and inside of the areola (closer to the nipple) has bled, i.e as if there was a cut or chunks of skin came out.
My GP had an examination and did not feel any lumps, however as my cardiologist has sent the letter saying they found a growth on an MRI scan she straight away sent me to the breast cancer clinic 2-week wait.
I am currently not worried. I am just very shocked and it was unexpected.
Additionally, I have noticed my appetite completely gone, I can go days without food as I feel full all the time. But I just put that down to my constipation.
I have had lower back and hip pain for a more than a couple of years, but since December, it has become a lot worse however I just assumed it was my hypermobility syndrome.
I have 7 conditions, so some symptoms I just put it down to those lol.
anyone else ever been referred due to finding a growth via MRI?
