Hi all just wanted any information on jaw lumps please. Last year I was referred for a lump under my chin which turned out to be a salivary gland stone, however due to COVID my appointments have been put back. I was pleased when I received an appointment last week however they have not been able to remove the stone and my options were very limited either total gland removal or referral to maxillofacial which I have opted for. The pain has been really bad and the doctor prescribed me with tramadol but I cannot stop touching my jaw were it's hurting and have noticed another lump. I've looked this up on dr google and it says it could be cyst or tumour. Should I wait for my appointment of maxillofacial or speak to my doctor.
