Hi all...

around six weeks ago I started to experience pain in my left breast that felt unusual. I rang my GP who diagnosed it as hormonal changes without an examination...but the pain continued and when I returned to see a different doctor they found a lump 1-2cm in my left breast. I am completely terrified. I don't have lumpy boobs and the pain is now going into my armpit and up into my shoulder. The worrying thing is I never even felt a lump myself... have been referred under the two week wait to the breast clinic at the RVI in Newcastle. Not sure what to expect but I'm sure it will be a day of invasive tests. Any advice would be much appreciated. Fingers crossed it's just a cyst and I know being 23 the stats are definitely on my side but it's not making me feel much better at the moment xx
