Thank you for posting on here. I hope you are able to find some helpful suggestions through this forum, even if it does mean searching a bit and doing your own research. 
 

Your story sounds similar to what has happened to me and I'm replying in the hope my situation will be of benefit to you. I've been complaining to my gp of various changes in my body including a pain on my lower right abdomen since December 2018. I had a eureka moment after a clear virtual colonoscopy result. I practically begged my gp to look at my ovaries as my pain was coming from my right hip/appendix area and I couldn't think of what else could be the cause. 
 

After pushing my GP several times during lockdown, she arranged an urgent vaginal ultrasound, which revealed a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst on my right ovary, which is what is causing the pain, spotting and other symptoms. I know everyone is different but I read your post and wondered if your gp has offered you an ultrasound of your ovaries to see if you also have a cyst which could be the cause of your pain. My pain radiates down my right leg, up around my hip, lower right abdomen, pelvic area and mid-right waist area. It is at times more painful when I lie down, too. I would suggest you keep pushing and phoning your gp for a referral. I am now pushing and chasing for my folllow-up appointment 2 months after the cyst was discovered! COVID is having a big impact on urgent referrals it seems, so be pushy if you feel something is wrong with your body. No one else will push the gp for you and you only have one body! Don't worry about what they think of you and nag, nag, nag, phone every day until your gp refers you for more scans. 
 

I have irregular bleeding as well as pain and symptoms for an ovarian cyst are apparently the same as for ovarian cancer, so I was also very concerned like you. It is difficult not to be so when you know you don't feel like your 'normal' self.

Please keep me updated and please try not to panic. Just keep nagging your gp and if they won't refer you for further investigations, change gp! We also

are considering going private to speed things up but two days ago my nagging paid off and my gp told me she has sent off two referrals to different hospitals, as she tells me some urgent referrals are being refused due to the backlog created from lockdown! I have a history of ovarian cancer in my family and so really want to be sure I don't slip through the net. Please keep active on your phone and make sure you don't fall through the net, too!

Thank you Snoopy, however I had a full hysterectomy in 2007 so no ovaries. I have wondered if I should have endoscopy to check stomach. I'm more worried now because I had this pain in leftside all this time and now to have hip pain too keep thinking its something now gone to bone. GP have said first could he adhesions then nerve pain now the latest is chronic pain and so other doctors then follow suit

Wish they would just give me a MRI to check everything and sort it as I said to GP that by the time they find what it is it could be too late to do anything  she said dont think its serious as blood tests all fine.  I said well what else can it be cant be right now getting hip pain. My husband said he take me to A,& E but I said no ad they only do blood tests and send me home after giving me painkillers and last time the girl doing blood pressure said why do I keep going there dont I go to GP I said I do but if surgery not open what else can I do when I have pain, I have been to the hospital so many times they have got to know me so I think they just placate me. I started back on Diazepam this morning as felt so down. My husband says well if you go to hospital at least you see doctor but wish he could come in with me which is now not allowed even though I have seen other couples in there.

You are describing my symptoms and I feel as you do about going round in circles and feeling like you're getting nowhere..

I've been in pain for over a year. Was referred in Feb 20 for a colonoscopy. Finally done in Oct 20. They were suspecting diverticulitis, but came back clear. Pain persisting and dominating my life. I've tried to describe it as stitch like or burning. I've kept going back and have rung 111 on many occasions as a gp consultation through surgery is not on offer. I was admitted to A and E in Oct, a couple of weeks before the colonoscopy took place. They suspected kidney stone, as I'd previously had one, but CT scan ruled that out. I've had a scan of left ovary in Dec, again all clear. Since January, have more or less had constant pain left side, sometimes left buttock and worsening pain in hip. I did see a gp in mid Jan who referred me for an endoscopy and chest xray. Also having pressure headaches, pain tip of left shoulder and high bp readings. GP said high readings can be due to pain. was very concerned last week as felt very jittery with chest tightness. Was asked to come in to A&E and had ECG, blood test and chest xray.  Tried saying the leftside and hip were very painful too, possibly causing the other symptoms. A very young doctor examined my abdomen which was very tender and caused pain. A nurse brought me omeprozole to take some time later, that was all! I had my endoscopy referral through the next day and had that on Saturday. Had really hoped it would show something, as pain is sometimes under the ribs. Maybe an ulcer..but it's come back as clear. All weekend my hip has been painful. Have been quite constipated also in general. Sometimes only manage to go after several days if I take Lactulose. Have a lot of orange mucus and stools are pellet like and very hard, inconsistent. So I'm now at a loss where to go next. I haven't injured my hip. Beginning to wonder whether I could have something like a hernia or obstruction somewhere causing all this, pressing on everything. I also have discomfort in the anal passage when sitting down. Like you, I feel the only thing that will bring any answers is a CT or better still MRI scan. I asked in Dec if I could go private for it, as the pain is affecting my life so much and the lack of diagnosis plus the passage of time was stressing me out hugely. Was told that the NHS has bought up any spare capacity in the private sector to cope with the Covid backlog. I get so frustrated at the lack of joined up thinking. It's always, 'Nothing obvious, so back to your GP, rather than okay, well if we just scan your hip area as well as your ovary', but no that can't happen.
