Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear about your worries although it's good to hear you've got a referral - hopefully you'll get an appointment before too long.

Try to avoid touching it or focusing on it too much in the meantime, as this often exacerbates the worry. Instead, try to distract yourself and focus on other things where possible.
