32 - 2 week breast referral

Hi all,

I have just turnt 32 and found a lump when showering in my right breast. Feels like it might be a lymph node? GP felt it and said it felt tubular shape ?

I am normally perfectly healthy but this year have been suffering with health problems after the birth of my second child who is now 10 months.

i started get joint pain in April and had high CRP & ESR both at 50. I have been diagnosed with approach arthritis!

I never even checked for lumps and when I came back from the GP when lifiting my arm I have a long dimple line but disappears when my arms are down. GP said she has referred me under the 2 week rule.

I am now so worried! No history of breast cancer in the family.

  • Hi Launapes212,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to read about your worries - it's never easy when waiting for appointments and information. It's good that you've got this checked out and that the doctor has referred you - that should mean you get all the info you need soon.

Try not to worry too much at this stage if at all possible - most lumps don't turn out to be anything serious. If you'd like an idea of what to expect at the clinic, please take a look here.

I hope it's not too long to wait for the appointment.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
