Symptoms

hi i was wondering if anyone could help

I recently found dimpled skin on my right breast and when I got a emergency appointment with my GP she examined me and found a lump on my left breast and told me to ring if anything changed, I have started getting a burning sensation in my right nipple which is sore and im not sure if I should contact her about this or should I just wait on my appointment letter from the hospital?

My grandmother was diagnos with stage 2 breast cancer yesterday and has to get her breast removed straight away

  • Hello CHERYL_RRR,

I think it would not do any harm to contact your GP about this and mentioning that you have started getting a burning sensation on your right nipple especially as she mentioned that you should ring if anything changed. So don't hesitate to give your doctor a call and to explain the situation and how things have changed recently. Your doctor will be in the best position to advise you further on this.

I hope everything turns out fine and that you won't need to wait too long for your appointment letter.

    Best wishes,
