I'm sorry to hear that you're having investigations for a suspected sarcoma at the moment. It's understandable that you're feeling worried about things. 

I'm not sure how long it will take for you to have the results of your scan. Typically when investigating for cancer, results are discussed at a multidiscpilinary team (MDT) meeting which can sometimes mean waiting a little longer. It may be that following this MRI that the Consultant requests you have other tests so that by the time you have your appointment in September they have all the information then need to hand. 

It can be a really difficult time when you're waiting for results and tests so if you'd like to talk things through with one of our nurses you're welcome to give them a call. They're back in the office on Tuesday after the bank holiday on 0808 800 4040 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm).
