Hi everyone, 

sorry for the long post.

ive been on this thread for a few weeks for various reasons, but decided I wanted to discuss some issues I've been having over the last 3 weeks.  
 

At the beginning I was going between constipation and soft stools/ diarrhoea, but now just constipated.  I tried to go to the toilet tonight and notice bright red blood on the toilet paper which made me want to investigate further with a mirror... there was blood on my anus, but I had been straining to try and get some sort of result on the toilet to no avail

ive also been feeling very weak/ tired over the last few weeks with no appetite.  I know not eating probably isn't helping the constipation/ nausea but I just don't feel hungry.
 

I started looking at this forum because I found a lump in my neck, went to the GP and was referred under the urgent 2 week head & neck cancer pathway.  Was told the lump was a reactive lymphnode.  
 

im terrified I have bowel cancer and have managed to get an appointment with my GP on Friday.  
 

i do have a lot of health anxiety due to my mum dying suddenly in her sleep.

i would appreciate any stories/ similar experiences.
