Lymph node biopsy help!

Hi everyone :-)

My LO went for a lymph node biopsy yesterday as he has had a lump in his armpit for the past 5 months! Due to covid everything has been a lot slower than they anticipated. Anyway, the scans showed that their was no pus in the lymph nodes, however yesterday I was told when they carried out the biopsy they found some pus.

 

I wanted to know has anyone else had this and what was the diagnosis?

    As I noticed no one replied to your post yet I wanted to stop by and welcome you to our forum.

    I'm sorry to hear that your LO has a lump that requires investigation although I'm glad to he is taking action on it despite these difficult pandemic times we're living in right now.

    Not being a medic myself I'm afraid I can't tell you what the diagnosis of his biopsy will be, I think only his medical team will be able to tell what is going on.
