Bowel cancer

Hi my mum  had a flexible sigmoidoscopy on Monday. She was told there were no malignancies but there was chicken skinning and inflammation. They couldn't say what's causing her symptoms so now has to wait for a CT scan. My question is has anyone else had chicken skinning and is it always a sign of cancer.  I think I just need to be prepared as I'm so worried. Thank you

    I'm sorry to hear that your Mum is dealing with some health concerns at the moment. 

    I must admit that I've never heard of chicken skinning before and I'm unsure what it is. Hopefully the CT scan will give some more answers as to what is causing her symptoms.
