I noticed you'd not had a response to your post and I'm a little unsure when your appointment was/is. 
Lots of members here find it helpful to write down any questions they have. As you've already described, it's usual to have lots of things going round in your head and this is one way of not forgetting anything when you go to the appointment. It's also useful to be able to write down any important information as well. 
If you've not had your appointment yet then it might be helpful for you to have a chat with one of our team of nurses who will be able to give you some advice and information. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Thank you for your reply - it's certainly given me something to think about. 

My St David's nurse (I live in Monmouthshire) has been very helpful too. She has offered the same advice as yourselves of which I appreciate greatly
