Oral cancer or salivary gland cancer?

Hello

I found a lump on the floor of my mouth (left front) and went to the doctors and dentist at the beginning of January 2020. They both said nothing suspicious so I left it.

I had to go to the doctors in June as I found a lump on my neck, half way up my left jaw. The doctor said it was a swollen lymph node due to an ear infection and gave me antibiotics. The infection didn't go away so I was also given a spray and he was quite dismissive of my worries re the lump. I then went to see another doctor and she referred me to ENT and I'm having an ultrasound and fine needle aspiration this week.

I had to go to the dentist re sore gums last week and he felt the lump on the floor of my mouth and said it was big and that if I wasn't going for a scan this week he would be referring me. It isn't actually a lump now, it's a fleshy mass right behind me front teeth, also on the left side.

I'm now really concerned as previous thyroid cancer surgeries 18 years ago and I have 2 young children.

Any advice would be appreciated.
