Yesterday I had an appointment for a smear. Long story short, I had a smear last year (2 years overdue) and my smear came back saying that I had high risk Hpv and would need another smear in 12 months. I went to my doctor yesterday to have my smear done. She started and then stopped before taking any swabs, she said that my cervix was vet red and looked abnormal. She said that she would refer me to the gynaecology unit at the hospital. I'm so worried.
